Can a Psychic Medium Really See the Unseen?

Learn To Be Psychic, Psychic Experiences February 21st, 2010

4688535_blogThis article, by Tana Hoy, is very good and enlightening. It is about something that has the whole world in confusion. Read on and see if you believe that a psychic can see the unseen.

Article from Tana Hoy

There are many theories about the after life. The big question is — does it really exist? Most people believe that it does not. As what Shakespeare says: “The undiscovered country from whose born no traveler returns”; in other words, when someone dies, they cannot go back to tell the tale. But then, there are some people who do believe in life after death.

Some would say that when you die, your spirit would transfer to another creature, human or anything else. Others would view that when you die your spirit stays on Earth, but only invisible to the naked eye. Still, there are others who insist and say that when a person dies, he or she will just cease to exist and that is the end of it. But this is not always the case, especially for from the eyes of a psychic medium.

A psychic medium is a person endowed with a special ability that allows them to get in touch with the spirits in the afterlife. A psychic medium can take messages, converse, and even serve as the body of that spirit for a moment to relay that message to people from the realm of the living seeking that communication. This is in a way eliminates the belief that there is no existence after this Earthly life.

The gift to communicate with spirits from the after life is a rare and special gift of a psychic medium. In fact, there are only a few people who can successfully perform mediumship. When a psychic medium attempts to establish communication with the spirits from the afterlife, they would usually seclude themselves. With perfect concentration, they can go into a trance – a state wherein they loose themselves and go into another dimension.

The psychic medium has other abilities aside from being able to communicate with spirits from the realm of the after life. They also have the capability to see the future. This is one of the major reasons why people would rather seek guidance from a psychic medium than just from a mere psychic reader.

If you need to know more concerning your loved ones who have passed away, or know what to prepare for the future, a psychic medium has both abilities and can surely be beneficial to you. For a little contrast, psychic readers will not only be able to predict your future and tell you the mysteries of it, but they cannot speak to the spirits in the afterlife.

There are many out there who want to experience this phenomenon of being able to see the future before it unfolds. There are many people who have many questions concerning their loved ones who have passed away; they want to know what counsels these loved ones could give them both for the present as well as for the future. There may even be some who are haunted and want to live in peace and they seek for endowment through a psychic medium.

For all your concerns and answers, seeking a psychic medium is a good option. A medium will guide you through this life’s queries and will enlighten your understanding.

The Psychic of Rock and Roll

Blog Talk Radio, Learn To Be Psychic November 29th, 2009

Andrew Brewer, “The Rock n Roll Psychic”, is a nationally televised clairvoyant and astrologer. Andrew has over one hundred appearances to his credit on radio and TV, perhaps most notably as the featured psychic and co-host, along with Erik Estrada and Jenilee Harrison, of “Kebrina’s Psychic Answer”. Andrew was the resident morning psychic for many years on Magic 99.7 FM—Columbus’ leading Rock station—and was also featured in a segment on “PM Magazine”. A talented writer, Andrew has published articles on a wide variety of metaphysical topics. He was at one time a featured columnist in “The Free Press” and has been featured, and quoted, in front page articles in both “The Los Angeles Times” and “USA Today”.  Andrew has advised major players from Hollywood to Wall Street and his client list, both past and present, includes Actors and Directors, Recording Stars (from L.A. to Nashville, San Francisco to Berlin) and business executives, internationally known super-models, NFL Cheerleaders and professional athletes in both the NFL and the NBA. A dynamic speaker, Andrew has led workshops for both corporate and non-corporate audiences all across the country. Not content “only” to be a psychic, Andrew “retired” from metaphysics in 1994 to “prove” he could make it in the big bad world of business and over a ten year six figure plus career, Andrew managed projects for several Fortune 500 companies and was twice selected for inclusion in “Who’s Who in Business”.

Andy is called “Rock n Roll Psychic” not because he is music but because a lot of his clients are in the Rock and Roll industry, so he was known as “Rock and Roll’s Psychic” and it stuck. I asked him what he does as a psychic or a clairvoyant and he said he used a lot of different things like, astrology, clairvoyance, psychic readings, he does classes and he works with actors. Andy started as a professional when he was in his early 30s but stopped completely when he had his little girl, Rianna, but then started again but going on and off. He decided to go full time again about three years ago.

I also asked him about some visualisation and relaxation techniques he used and he said to visualise a masseuse massaging your feet, to feel them starting on the balls on your feet and to feel them work their way up your ankles and calves and have the response that would seem appropriate to go with that picture. You should hopefully feel relaxed. That is a visualisation and a relaxation in one and you can do it as many times in a day as you want.

Andy was a great guest and I found him quite amazing and helpful. I hope you have fun listening!

Grounding Your Energy

Blog Talk Radio, Crystals, Learn To Be Psychic, Psychic Experiences October 25th, 2009

lauraMedium Laura Evans is a widely acclaimed Spiritual Medium, Radio Host and personality, intuitive, aspiring author, life coach and spiritual teacher. Laura has been speaking to spirits since age 5 and is known for her readings and accurate descriptions. She is able to connect to your loved ones and guides on the Other Side to bring you comfort and answers.

I was lucky enough to have her as a guest on my Talk Show this week. Laura spoke a lot about energy and “grounding”. This type of grounding isn’t what you do to children when they behave inappropriately, it’s what you do with energy. Grounding means taking energy from Mother Earth and when energy gets given to you, you give it to Mother Earth.

Laura shared an exercise she does with her children to practise grounding. You  pretend that you’re a tree, your feet are the roots, they grow down to the core of the Earth  and any sickness or hurt will go down them and Mother Earth will take that energy, cleanse it and put it back into the world. Then you bring your roots up and into your solar plexus chakra then you hug your belly and you’re then grounded.

Being a medium, Laura takes energy mainly from the Earth but some times she loses her “angle” and takes energy from any source available. Sometimes when she’s talking on the phone to her friends, she’ll have 2 or three fully charged phones ready and in a matter of hours they’ll all be drained of battery.  This is why learning to ground is important.

Energy is conducted through everything, although crystals, candles and essential oils allow that energy to be conducted more easily. Crystals have different energies for example, a clear quartz is for cleaning, a rose quartz symbolises love, hematite absorbs negative energies etc. This is the same for candles and essential oils. Click here if you want to read the crystal meanings.

I found talking to Laura very helpful and enlightening. I hope you find her enlightening too.

Tarot Card Readings – Unleash The Card Magic To Explore Beyond Boundaries

Learn To Be Psychic, Psychic Experiences, Tarot October 4th, 2009

One tool a psychic may use when conducting readings are tarot cards. Tarot cards are often colourful and well decorated, generally capturing the imagination of the people around. Many people believe that the deck of tarot cards possess the power to reveal the hidden secrets to life however, it is really the interpretation of the reader that holds the power.

Tarot cards allow a psychic t0 receive messages for the person they’re reading for. These messages can vary the way that they present themselves for the reader.

The earliest variant of tarot cards is believed to originate somewhere in northern Italy, around the fifteenth century. This original version of tarot cards was deployed to play games like the regular cards but differed slightly in composition. Unlike the regular card packs, the tarot cards comprised of an extra 22 cards known as Major Arcana. These extra cards did not belong to any special suit and had on them symbolic pieces of artwork, which have become crucial in psychic readings. Read the rest of this entry »

That Psychic Girl talks to Dorothy Holder from Energy Therapies

Auras, Blog Talk Radio, Chakras, Learn To Be Psychic September 27th, 2009

aura readingThis week on my Blog Talk Radio Show, I talked to Dorothy Holder from EnergyTherapies.co.nz.

Dorothy is a clairvoyant energy therapist, specialising in reading energy on many levels. Reading auras, gaining information on personality, past lives, relationships etc. Dorothy also reads pets and has workshops teaching psychic development and the Vibrational expansion technique® for practitioners.

Dorothy doesn’t connect the word “psychic” with her line of work. Her main line of work is an energy therapist and she also does reading so that people can make an informed choice. She also, physically, sees auras with her eyes.

Dorothy was a “late bloomer”, she had a few experiences, when she was young, which scared her. The thing that really interested her was the voice inside her head that was so loud that it was impossible to ignore and she spent the next two years trying to hear that voice again. This triggered a chain of self-healing and resolving issues in her life.

Aura reading was something Dorothy specifically set out to learn and she studied psychometry to develop the skill. Initially she relied on her guides and her third eye to read and interpret auras, but she found over time, through consistent practice she started seeing them visually.

I asked Dorothy how seeing auras helps with the healing process, and she shared that reading auras is information and information allows her to provide a more meaningful analysis to her clients. For example if she sees red in around the head chakra opposed to red the heart chakra, she’ll provide different advice. By bringing someone’s awareness to a specific area of their body and getting to focus and think about it, it actually changes the way they use that energy.

For Dorothy it’s about using information to allow her clients to make informed decision that will benefit their lives.

Dorothy also spoke about past lives and she believes that you bring the base personality to each life. While individuals current circumstances will modify their response it will not change their base personality. When Dorothy describes something to a client from one of their past lives, that resonates with something in their present lives. They’re often more open to suggestions of change that will lead beneficial result.

Dorothy suggests that some base personality traits that have a negative impact on your life will manifest themselves in your current life. She uses past life techniques to identify the origin of these traits in order for her clients to be able to overcome  those negative aspects. It doesn’t mean that you haven’t learnt from that aspect, it means that you haven’t evolved it.  The point is that, while the base personality is fixed and transferred from life to life, it doesn’t compromise free choice. Being aware of aspects of past lives that impact your current life allows you to make informed decisions.

Have fun listening.

Rhonda Carpenter – Author, Hypnotist & Meta Physical Expert

Blog Talk Radio, Intuition, Knowledge, Learn To Be Psychic, Psychic Experiences August 23rd, 2009

Past-life Regressions and Hypnotherapy aren’t subjects you that you would think you would discuss everyday, but that is exactly what Rhonda Carpenter does.

Today I spoke with Rhonda, author of “The Mark of A Druid”, Public Speaker, Educator, Reiki Master, Pranic Healer, Dream and Handwriting expert, and Founder of www.lifefirst.com.

Rhonda was born in the Midwest. At the age of four, she began to have visions of future events. As she grew, so did the visions. A professional psychic for the last 20 plus years, she found that she could tell her clients what was coming up, but she did not have the tools to help them handle the information or the motivation necessary to achieve their highest potential. Rhonda certified as a Hypnotherapist in 1994. Hypnotherapy brought it all together for her, allowing her to integrate her natural intuitive nature with scientific method.

Rhonda and I talked about what hypnotherapy and past-life regressions are and what they can do for you.

I  asked Rhonda about past-life regressions and how they can help you in you life today. She said that Past Life regressions are something that can help heal your life in the 21st century because no matter what, when you go into a regressive situation whether it be within this life time, a previous or future life time, it will all ways tie in what you experiencing now, a complication that exists. Basically by understanding your past life you can address the situation today.

Hypnotherapy is a state of heightened awareness. It doesn’t necessarily have to be done by a professional like Rhonda. Sometimes, we’ve been distracted by something and we drift into a trance-like state, then something or someone makes a sudden noise or they stop and we’re taken out of that state. That just proves that we can enter a hypnotic state on our own.

Rhonda was a great guest today and I enjoyed talking to her about her work. If you want to learn more about her go to her website. If you want to learn about Rhonda’s book, “The Mark of A Druid” go here.

Are You Psychic?

Learn To Be Psychic July 9th, 2008

If you type “psychic abilities” into most any search engine you will undoubtedly receive more than results. But the one thing you won’t find as easily with any internet source how to determine if you have psychic abilities and what to do to cultivate them. Despite the skepticism surrounding the field of parapsychology scientist have cultivated test which help to detect certain amounts of psychic ability. And although the tests are far from perfect they may be the stepping stone between the alien field of parapsychology and modern science.

Have you ever noticed that you often know who is calling before you answer the phone? What about thinking about an old friend and suddenly you run into them in the grocery store? These instances may not be coincidences they could be indications of psychic ability.

Psychic abilities are ones that everyone is born with. Just like the sense of smell, touch and taste they are a natural instinct that helps us navigate through the world around us. Because psychic abilities are not part of mainstream culture they are often ignored. So how do you determine if you have psychic abilities that are worth cultivating and if so can you develop them?

JB Rhine and members of Duke University developed an experimental science studies program in the 1930s. Along with associate Karl Zener, Rhine began to try and identify psychic activity. Zener formulated a rudimentary test for identifying psychic activity that is still in use today, Zener cards. This test consists of a series of cards with distinctive symbols on them that a test subject will try to predict. Although this test has been in use for decades there is some speculation about its accuracy.

These tests have been criticized as being strategic guess work. Further every aspect of psychic activity has fallen prey to skepticism. Because there is no sensory organ that psychic abilities seem to originate from it is against the current understanding of physics to accept their existence. But many testify that these abilities do exist and to find out if you have them.

Consciousness and Connection

connection, consciousness July 3rd, 2008

The 21st century is marked by the rise of the internet and growing concerns about the environment. Civilization is moving forward with leaps and bounds and so is our capacity to learn about the intuitive nature locked inside each of us.

As reflected in art, literature and philosophy life is an epic journey. It is a continuous pursuit of answers in which each of us is searching for the key of transformation. The answers to these questions are surprisingly locked within our psyche. Intuition is the key that unlocks these questions. This quest for knowledge is reflected in many religions including Judaism, Christianity and Zen. Everyone has a different set of questions and a different quest.

According to Laura Day in her book “Practical Intuition” the human race has lost the connection with its natural instincts and is thus cut off from the answers within.

“As creatures increasingly cut off from our environment by high technology,” she said. “We have lost touch with our senses as well as our intuition.”

Even when we have unplugged the computer and turned off the television Day asserts that we are still tuned into the white noise of society. “Because we are continuously bombarded by stimuli, we have learned to edit out the information that we receive,” she adds.

Finding a balance between editing stimulation and being able to recognize sensations as you experience them may be harder than it seems. It is virtually impossible to notice your surroundings without censoring your feelings. Despite the growing noise pollution it is possible to still the mind and allow yourself the freedom of uncensored thought and it is through this thought process that consciousness and instinct can be developed.

Origins of Runes

Learn To Be Psychic, Runes June 30th, 2008

Origin of Runes:

Runes have been used for literary and divination purposes for more than 15 centuries. There are seven different casting methods that predominantly reflect the region in which the method was first conducted. However, as a divination tool runes depict such things as cattle and thorns as well as chariots, gifts and a Yew Tree. These symbols represent strength, wealth, death and other aspects of life, including death.

Runes are believed to be part of the Germanic alphabet. They were predominantly used writing and divination or other paranormal activities. These tile shaped stones were used throughout northern Europe, Scandinavia, Iceland and the British Isles for a number of centuries ranging from the third to the 13th. As a divination tool runes act as an oracle to those who seek a better understanding of their path forward. The runes do not actually work as a fortune telling tool they simply outline answers to detailed questions and you have to rely on intuition to construct the details. In this way it is up to you to find the real truths however the runes allow you a pathway inside.

According to Merriam Webster Dictionary the word “rune” originates in Old Norse from the word meaning mystery. Each rune has esoteric meanings and properties associated with it beyond the regular phonetic association. These words and sometimes phrases signified specific concepts to the early people using the Runes. All of the Rune concepts represent forces of nature and the human mind. And each rune has a story attached to it.

The runes were a part of common culture well into the 17th century. They have been found on everyday items such as coins. And there is some references that indicate the church actually sanctioned the use of runes in certain cultures. In the heyday of rune usage everyone was apt to consult them on matters both public and private. Unfortunately Church doctrine banned the usage of runes during the mid 17th century as part of an initiative to rid Europe of “evil.”

Many of the skilled rune masters were either executed or forced underground. It is of little wonder that any knowledge of the runes still exists. Despite the odds a revival of rune casting took place in Scandinavia during the mid 19th with Scandinavian and German scholars sparking an enthusiastic interest in the symbolic script. Runes took the spotlight again during the 1920’s and 1930’s but not in a positive manner. It was at this time that rune usage became associated with Nazi ideology and began to accumulate racist connotations. However, the new age movement of the 1980’s brought runes back as a tool for divination as well as self awareness.

The traditional set of runes used today is the Elder Futhark. It is composed of 24 symbols or letters. Each rune has two or three possible meanings. Each rune is also associated with a Nordic mythical figure.

Introduction to Tarot Cards

Introductions, Learn To Be Psychic, Tarot June 27th, 2008

Introduction to Tarot Cards:

Tarot cards conjure the image of star studded gypsies giving readings in the back of a wagon caravan. But in reality tarot cards were not designed for divination. Instead the oldest documentation of tarot cards is in northern Italy during the 15th century where these “trump” cards were first used in combination with the standard four suit deck. The first known tarot cards were found in the homes of Italian nobility.

Documentation of the first tarot cards includes evidence that these first cards were added to the standard sets to play a game called “triumph” in which the additional cards, which depicted everything from Greek gods to the emperors and popes of the time, outranked all of the other cards regardless of suit. Centuries later the tarot cards began to emerge to the public as magic symbols. As the popularity of the tarot cards grew the additional cards began to take on new artistic designs that reflect the popular culture of the day.

There is evidence that tarot cards became popular during the Italian Renaissance. This was a time of intellectual growth in which many philosophies emerged including astrology, Neo-Platonism and early Christianity. Many of these philosophies are reflected in the depicted characters of modern day tarot cards.

In the 18th century several occult leaders became interested in the tarot and did much work deciphering astrological attributes as well as the mysterious connotations associated with tarot cards. Although the cards did not originate as a divination tool they have evolved into a form of fortune telling. And a variety of styles of tarot card decks and designs have emerged as well. Historically, one of the most important designs is the Tarot de Marseilles. This style was made popular during the 20th century. However, other designs include the Minchiate and the Swiss Tarot.

Today a complete deck of Tarot cards includes four suits, coins, wands, cups and swords. Each suit has four picture cards, Page, Knight, Queen and King as well as number cards ranging from one to ten. Additionally there are 22 trump cards also known as the major arcane. The terminology “major arcana” is used predominantly in divination purposes. Game players using the tarot for everyday card games call these cards trump cards. But the name of the major arcana is not the only distinguishing feature. Tarot cards also have unique illustrations on the major arcana cards as opposed the normal Roman or Arabic numeral on each card.

Arcana is Latin for mysterious or specialized knowledge, language or information that is generally accessible only by the initiate. These cards depict scenes, mostly featuring a person or several people, with many symbolic elements. The earliest decks were predominantly unnamed and some even unnumbered.
