The Road to Intuition
Intuition, Learn To Be Psychic, deja vu November 22nd, 2009
Do you sometimes have that feeling that something is about to happen and then find that it really does?
Intuition is something we all get. When you feel strongly about something without reason, it’s called intuition. Intuition is that feeling of knowing what to do, or knowing something and it can come in forms of sensing things, clairvoyance or clairaudience.
Clairvoyance is when you see things with your mind’s eye and typically you will know something is happening or something will happen. Sensing clearly is basically what is referred to as “hunch” or “gut feel”. This is the time when you are overwhelmed with a feeling and you can’t explain it, all you can say is “I just know”.
Clairaudience is being able to “listen” between the lines. Sometimes, a certain sound (like a bird call, a whistle being blown, a train engine) creates an intense feeling of ‘knowing’ something.
Some people say only a number of people are gifted with intuition, but I don’t think this is true. I think that everyone has intuition but not everyone knows how to “tap in to it” or may have even learned to ignore their intuition.
Intuition promotes good communication. It makes you more sensitive to the people around you; it often keeps you from hurting those you love because you are intuitive enough to understand them. Intuition aids your creativity and may also provide a healing power. This healing power is not in the physical sense, but allows you to look deep into your soul to remove negative energy that may be buried there.
My Mum has an intuition around business and technical things. By listening to what others are describing, my Mum can often ‘reach the heart of a matter’ and help others achieve success. I’ve seen her do this a heap of times – and it amazes a lot of people. When we ask Mum, ‘how did you know to ask that question’ she will often say she doesn’t know why, just that it seemed to be the right question to ask then and there. Some will say that Mum just listens well, but listening well is part of being intuitive.
Some ways to unlock this your intuitive powers are:
1. Hypnosis
Hypnosis is not limited to watching a pendulum move back and forth. A self-hypnosis can be made or you can get a hypnotic program or audio that can strengthen your intuition. By placing yourself in a hypnotic state, you can help your subconscious release any blocks that may be in place.
2. Meditation
Meditating means finding peace in yourself. Sometimes, people confuse Hypnosis and Meditation – but they are different. If your mind and heart are cluttered with too much hurt, sorrow or is just simply ‘to busy’, you won’t be able to hear (or even sense) that part of you that is intuitive. There are so many ways to meditate: take a yoga class, or just simply practice some relaxed deep breathing with a clear mind. Sometimes, sitting quietly under that beautiful tree in the backyard and just being still is a great meditation.
3. Think positive!
A worry-free and fear-free state could do so much to improve your intuitive ability. By staying positive, you attract good energy that would be able to easily recognize pending feelings and events. Staying positive includes letting go of the negative thoughts around people and things and just accepting them for what they are. If you think badly about someone, this will eventually find it’s way to your subconscious and may block your intuition.
4. Just let go.
If you are on the brink of making a decision, let go of all the inhibitions, head to a peaceful and quiet place and just be still! You may be amazed at what you ‘hear’ when you do this – make sure that you listen to the voice within you.
Intuition is helpful, because sometimes it leads you to something that cannot otherwise be achieved. A lot of lives have been saved by intuition alone and you will find your decisions are easier done if armed by this gift. Develop intuition now and let benefits you have never imagined come to you.

Rhonda Carpenter – Author, Hypnotist & Meta Physical Expert
Blog Talk Radio, Intuition, Knowledge, Learn To Be Psychic, Psychic Experiences August 23rd, 2009
Past-life Regressions and Hypnotherapy aren’t subjects you that you would think you would discuss everyday, but that is exactly what Rhonda Carpenter does.
Today I spoke with Rhonda, author of “The Mark of A Druid”, Public Speaker, Educator, Reiki Master, Pranic Healer, Dream and Handwriting expert, and Founder of www.lifefirst.com.
Rhonda was born in the Midwest. At the age of four, she began to have visions of future events. As she grew, so did the visions. A professional psychic for the last 20 plus years, she found that she could tell her clients what was coming up, but she did not have the tools to help them handle the information or the motivation necessary to achieve their highest potential. Rhonda certified as a Hypnotherapist in 1994. Hypnotherapy brought it all together for her, allowing her to integrate her natural intuitive nature with scientific method.
Rhonda and I talked about what hypnotherapy and past-life regressions are and what they can do for you.
I asked Rhonda about past-life regressions and how they can help you in you life today. She said that Past Life regressions are something that can help heal your life in the 21st century because no matter what, when you go into a regressive situation whether it be within this life time, a previous or future life time, it will all ways tie in what you experiencing now, a complication that exists. Basically by understanding your past life you can address the situation today.
Hypnotherapy is a state of heightened awareness. It doesn’t necessarily have to be done by a professional like Rhonda. Sometimes, we’ve been distracted by something and we drift into a trance-like state, then something or someone makes a sudden noise or they stop and we’re taken out of that state. That just proves that we can enter a hypnotic state on our own.
Rhonda was a great guest today and I enjoyed talking to her about her work. If you want to learn more about her go to her website. If you want to learn about Rhonda’s book, “The Mark of A Druid” go here.
Have fun listening

Psychic Abilities and Z-Point
Blog Talk Radio, Intuition, Learn To Be Psychic, Meditation, Psychic Effect, Psychic Experiences August 16th, 2009
Laura and Liz from ‘The Way To Bliss Now’ are talented energy workers who practise EFT and Z-Point. I was honoured to have them as guests on my ‘Learn To Be Psychic Talk Show‘.
Z-Point is an energy therapy, similar to EFT but it doesn’t rely on ‘tapping’ to clear the energy blocks instead it relies on the installation of a healing program and the use of a keyword or cue. This all technical and clinical and Laura and Liz do a much better job of explaining this on the show.
The connection between Z-Point and enhancing psychic abilities is quite simple really, it’s all energy and by using Z-Point energy clearing techniques you can ‘tap’ into your psychic energies a lot better. You could also use Z-Point to remove any blocks you may be experiencing around your psychic senses. Read the rest of this entry »

Intuition and the Quest For Knowledge
Intuition, Knowledge, Learn To Be Psychic, Quest May 18th, 2008
The 21st century is marked by the rise of the internet and growing concerns about the environment. Civilization is moving forward with leaps and bounds and so is our capacity to learn about the intuitive nature locked inside each of us.
As reflected in art, literature and philosophy life is an epic journey. It is a continuous pursuit of answers in which each of us is searching for the key of transformation. Surprisingly the last place we seek is the very place our journey begins and that is within.
Unfortunately, the inward quest has been shunned while intuitive guides and psychics have been forced to dwell on the fringes of society. Just the classification “paranormal” and “supernatural” indicate the ultimate attitude society has of intuition and the knowledge that it encompasses. As the knowledge of the psychic grows society must acknowledge its presence.
According to Laura Day in her book “Practical Intuition” the human race has lost the connection with its natural instincts and is thus cut off from the answers within.
“As creatures increasingly cut off from our environment by high technology,” she said. “We have lost touch with our senses as well as our intuition.”
It is time for intuition and psychic abilities to join the scientific realms and become a recognized part of the everyday.
Psychic activities are closely linked to self awareness. Because of this there is no better field to incorporate the psychic than in psychology. As a field psychology has ignored these natural abilities in an effort to gain credibility. However, consciousness is becoming a recognizably credible phenomenon. And the library of psychic case studies is overflowing with accounts that stand as testimony to the potential of this field.
As scientists make honest strides to define the human consciousness they progress closer to the human abilities toward intuition and the “gift” of psychic abilities. As part of the initiative to encourage these studies scientists are becoming familiar with everything from near death experiences, lucid dreaming and the philosophies of the mind to meditation and various philosophical religions such as shamanism and Taoism.
These “gifts” or sensitive talents are not negative as society may imply. The ability toward perception is often associated with healing arts as well as a reverence toward the earth and natural cycles of life. To abolish such practices would only lead to alienation of the self.
In addition to scientific studies there is a need for a unified front against negativity associated with the public’s view of psychic research. Due to the sensitive nature of all things psychic negativity can have a detrimental affect. The process of bringing psychic skills mainstream is in its infancy and as part of that process stand up against negativity and ill will.
